Booking & Retainer
A date is not reserved until availability is confirmed in writing and any required booking retainer is received.
The booking retainer is applied toward your total ceremony balance and secures your date and time.
The I Do Spot
Client Policies
Effective for bookings confirmed on or after September 8, 2026.
Payment
The remaining balance is due on or before the ceremony date unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing.
Optional add-ons and any travel or venue-access charges are added to the final balance.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be sent in writing to your officiant as early as possible.
A 72-hour cancellation deadline applies. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the ceremony may forfeit the booking retainer.
Booking retainers are non-refundable, as your date is held exclusively for you and turned away from other couples.
Rescheduling
One date change may be requested, subject to availability.
If the new date is unavailable, the booking is treated as a cancellation under the policy above.
Travel
Travel within 25 miles one way of Hinesville is included.
Travel fees, parking, ferry, or venue-access charges may apply outside the included area and are quoted before booking.
Marriage License
The couple is responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license before the ceremony and bringing it to the ceremony.
A ceremony cannot legally be performed or signed without a valid, unexpired license.
Ceremony Day
Please plan for the ceremony to begin at the scheduled time. A 15-minute grace period is provided; a $25 waiting fee begins after the 15-minute grace period.
Ceremony details, readings, and vow personalization should be finalized at least seven days in advance.
Weather, Emergencies & Substitutions
In the rare event of illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a qualified substitute officiant when possible.
Conduct & Privacy
We ask that all guests treat our team and your venue with respect; ceremonies may be ended early in unsafe situations.
Your personal information is used only to plan and perform your ceremony and is never sold.
